Reginald was captured at the surrender of Singapore to the Japanese. he died from diptheria. Records give his mother's address as Brandon Road, Mildenhall The 5th Suffolks fought in Singapore right up to the last moment before the surrender to the Japanese. He was originally buried in Changi Cemetery C-F-1 and re-interred in Kranji War Cemetery on 25th April 1946
